Accessing your teaching timetable for 2022/23
New for this year your teaching timetable will automatically populate into your USW Outlook calendar. Updates will automatically sync meaning you will always have up to date information at your fingertips.
You can view your timetable by day, week or by month. Your timetable will give you all the information you need about where and when your teaching will take place. The teaching day for the majority of courses will run from 9am – 6pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday then 9am to midday on Wednesday. Wednesday afternoon have been made available to enable you to engage in extra-curricular activities.
Where possible we have tried to group your teaching on campus into more than 4 days across each week. However, due to constraints this is not always possible but be assured we will continue to look at this to optimise your time on campus. If you see an obvious improvement which could be made and it works for the other students, your lecturer then please let you Course Rep know, and they can contact us directly with the information and we’ll look into this.
The timetable is subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances and we would recommend you check your personal timetable at least once a week. On very rare occasions, the teaching session may not be able to take place and will be rescheduled so you still receive the same amount of required teaching. If this should happen, we will make every effort to inform you as soon as possible in advance via email, text or Blackboard. If you have not been notified of an absence, and a member of the teaching team has not arrived with you 10 minutes after the start time of the teaching session, please contact [email protected]
The Scheduling Team are here to help with any questions you may have so please don’t hesitate to contact us on the above email address.
Where can I find my timetable?
Your timetable should be personal to you and sync directly into your USW Outlook Calendar.
I can’t see my timetable in Outlook?
Firstly, you need to have a USW student IT Account (see below if you haven’t yet sorted this out). Then make sure you’re running Microsoft Outlook as this will be the only software where you will be able to see your timetable. If you're running any other software such as Googlemail, Yahoo etc then your timetable will not appear in there.
