You have not passed sufficient modules to be allowed to proceed to the next part of your course. You will be required to undertake the modules with a status of "Resit" or "Repeat" during the next academic session.
Repeat – you will be required to repeat the module with a status of ‘Repeat’ during the next academic session.
Resit – you will be required to resit the assessment(s) with a status of "Resit" during the next academic session.
Please note the following points that apply to your resit(s) and repeat(s) assessments and module(s):
- You will not be able to attain a mark higher than the overall module pass mark in any resit(s) and/or repeat(s). Your actual assessment mark will be recorded and the overall module will be capped at the module pass mark. Please refer to course handbook for module pass mark.
- If the mark you achieve at resit/repeat is lower than what you achieved at your first attempt, the resit/repeat mark will still be recorded.
- If you fail to attempt your resit/repeat assessment a mark of “0” will be recorded.
- The 5 working day late submission rule DOES NOT apply to resit work or to work submitted as a first attempt during a resit period.
What do I need to do now?
- We advise you to read the Resit Information regarding undertaking your assessment(s) in the next academic session.
- It is your responsibility to contact your module leader about your assessments.
- You will be required to re-enrol on your course. You will receive an email to your student account confirming that you are eligible to use the online enrolment service. Further information on how to do this can be found on the Enrolment website.
